Tianguis
The tianguis was one of the Mexica cultural expressions that especially impressed the Spanish conquerors. The most important tianguis, or outdoor market, was in Tlatelolco, sister city and neighbor of Tenochtitlan and it stood out for its wide array of products, as well as for its extraordinary organization. This model recreates only a part of what was the place where commercial activity took place, whether selling or exchanging different products, such as the infinity of foods, animals of different species, grasses, textiles, ceramics for domestic use, baskets, mats and other palm objects, raw materials and a large quantity of other products.
