Chalchiuhtlicue
Chalchiuhtlicue is "She of the Jade Skirt," water goddess associated with rivers, lakes, lagoons and the sea. According to the Leyenda de los Soles (Legend of the Suns), she gave birth to the world in the Fourth Sun, in the era known as Four-Water. During her regency, the sky was made of water and it fell on the earth, precipitating a great flood. Image from the Codex Borbonicus.
