Mazcala Mask
Mezcala mask, made of stone with traces of red pigment in the mouth and evidence of inlaid eyes. Guerrero culture area. In its beginnings, the Mezcala style was contemporary with Classic period Teotihuacan, that is to say between 400 to 750 A.D. The majority of these pieces from Mezcala have a glyph of aquatic nature on the back.
