Silver mask

Mascara de plata photoSilver mask found inside an obsidian urn containing cremated remains. It represented an apparently semi-fleshless face, adorned with two large ear ornaments in the form of serpents and three small bells. It combines the metallurgical techniques of the "lost wax" process, repoussé and filigree.
