Archaeology of Teotihuacan, Mexico
Offerings at the Feathered Serpent Pyramid: General
The offering complex found at the FSP is the richest of those
found to date in Teotihuacan in terms of quality, quantity, and
diversity. Some materials were highly unusual for Mesoamerica. The
offerings mainly consisted of objects of personal adornment and
ritual objects, and did not include utility items like pottery,
except for some "Tlaloc" jars and a few types of vessels that might
have contained liquid or organic materials.
